We went and had a few drinks over in Mick and Anne's cottage, getting into the Labor Day feel of course, and the guys organised the rest of our upcoming accommodation.
We were all pretty tired so off to bed and ready for Fathers Day golf!
After a wonderful big breakfast, Bunny's daughter looking after us, even jam, Boston cream and hazelnut cream donuts served as well, we waddled out and drove to the Iron Valley Miners Club Golf Course. A beautiful day today, really warm. We played our 18 holes, which was great, and the woman on the drinks cart said we just HAD to try the crab cakes back at the club house. Best she's ever had, world famous etc etc. Oh, alright then, if we must!
wow, she was so right! They were so delicious, and no fillers at all, crab, crab and more crab! Yummo. Made with snow crab which is kind of like an Alaskan crab.
We were also advised we had to go into this historic Tavern on our way back to the Berry Patch, so we did! Met some new friends, some with a Harley who Mick was keen to chat with. Luanne drove us all home safely, grabbed pizzas for tea and had a few drinks on Mick and Anne's verandah again. The size of the size of the pizzas were incredible and we were going to get 3!!! Off to bed after a good day!

Looks like a relaxing day at the golf, Shame you put Jason Day off at your previous gold experience!! Those autumn leaves are getting better, if you stay long enough for Johns hair to grow back I'm sure you'll get the colours!! Love the B&B, little wonder kids are excluded, hope you all behaved yourselves? Love Pam and Vernon
