The tour was very informative, such history and gorgeous old buildings. Funnily enough though, once we got on, weren't encouraged to get off! A bit of a laugh! When we did get off, we backtracked to some of the places we wanted to see at our leisure. After a group discussion, we decided that we'd pretty much seen all that was to see in Quebec City so the boys ducked off for some more golf whilst we hit the local bus system and found a shopping mall - surprise, surprise! Bus system so much easier than the experience we had in Seattle three years ago, that's for sure!
After much walking, and shopping, we'd just found a clothes shop that suited us, went to the counter to ask where we could try clothes on, and the attendant looked at us in horror flapping her arms around, trying to tells us "in French" that we shouldn't be in the store as it was closed and couldn't try on or buy anything! They'd pretty much locked us in!

and fountain - and John!
Loved the streets!
Had a quieter night to get some good sleep, as a long drive today. Going to cross back into America and try and get to Boston to spend a couple of nights there.
We've enjoyed our time in Canada, seen a lot, had some laughs. Ready for the States now, but are they ready for us? We're coming!!!
Glad you enjoyed Canada - by the sounds of your experience shopping you girls may have worn out your welcome is the dress shops...perhaps it's lucky we don't have photo evidence of what goes on at the golf courses throughout the Canadian East!!! Good luck getting through customs and on your long drive to Boston. Not sure about having a quiet night - what's wrong with you all?? Getting old by the sounds of it!! Be good in the US of A. Love Pam and Vernon
