Got to our Hotel Le Voyageur, checked in, dropped our gear and went discovering.
First stop was the Montmorency Falls. Had an incredible walk up to the top by a million stairs, huffing and puffing, we made it! There was a lovely Manor up at the top for a drink and lunch, but we were still on the go, wanting to see as much of this place as we could.
Next stop was the magnificent Church of Sainte Anne. You can see it is truly stunning. It was built originally in 1658, but had a fire in 1922 and has taken over 50 years to rebuild it. Whilst we were there they are still doing work on it.
We then had to find the bakery, and have some French pastries. Lovely and light - much nicer than ours here I'd have to say.
Back to the hotel for a quick shower and off to Old Quebec. So beautiful that's for sure. So much history here. Wandered around for a couple of hours, then Daryl picked his spot for his birthday dinner and it was great. Food superb, apparently I eat the most according to Mick, sang happy birthday, and finally Daryl's birthdays are finished! We're all exhausted! Adieu!
Trying to keep up with Mick!

Wow, lots of great photos, you've certainly been busy today. Good to see you are still really fit and able to climb a million steps. I'm sure by the time you leave you'll get thousands of autumn leaves, very jealous of all your holiday fun. Love Pam and Vernon
