Heading towards Washington DC

Left our lovely lodgings at Curtis House in Woodbury Connectiut. Was a lovely place and hosts and staff wonderful. Apparently they have a resident ghost "Betty" can you believe! Luanne and Daryl had a photo of a woman with the eyes cut out and other eyes inserted, in their room, so Lu couldn't sleep without a hand towel over it ha! Had one of our most enjoyable dinners - like home -  Sheppards Pie, Chicken Pot Pie, steak, pork chops. Good to eat something else other than burgers, fries and hotdogs!
We are now on our way towards Washington DC, driving through New Jersey.  A bit of driving today not too much sight seeing, mainly on the highways. Pretty much the most exciting thing that happened was a car on fire just before we entered Pennsylvania! They sure know how to drive fast here! Daryl driving at 115km and horse floats and trucks are still passing him! Made our way into Jonestown, Lebanon Pennsylvania and are having 2 nights here then into Washington DC.

The haunted Curtis House by ghost Betty!

Such a beautiful old building

The relaxing gardens at Curtis House

A bit of entertainment
for us - not for this driver!

Apparently this drive we're now doing from Boston to Washington, is commonly known as the Bos-Wash Corridor or North East Megalopolis.  There you go!
Wishing all of the Fathers a HAPPY FATHERS DAY from all of us here, and thank you to those who have sent their wishes to our guys too. For something different - we're all playing golf!! Their day, their choice, but it's definitely not going to be a ground hog day!
Hope everyone's well. Bye ya'll xxoo
